Today I got an email reminding me to download my preorder of Waveform Pro v11 and I see they now have Waveform Free. Their site even has tons of tutorial videos for it (and newer releases as well). Mainly because it has everything and more you would ever need and it is super easy to learn. Again, NO LIMITs everything is there, from zero track limits to track freezing. Up until recently (might still be) they offer Tracktion ver 7 for free. Back when I was using an old Mac Mini it was a latency life saver. Tracktion was one of the first to offer track freezing too I believe. You can create and save groups of plugins, align as you desire, make adjusts and save the entire setup as a “rack” that you can recall in a flash and throw on your tracks.no hunting for them. One aspect I love about Waveform is Plugin Racks. The current release (v11) boasts some awesome features including some that other DAWs don’t. After several more releases, the DAW name changed to Waveform and it includes a traditional style mixer section. The workflow is a little different from other DAWs, mainly the mixer section but once you used it wasn’t a disadvantage. It was so user friendly, single screen, simple workflow, full midi and so on. Started with T5 which was free and with zero limitations as well. The one I actually COMPLETED projects with lol. Besides using Cakewalk back in the day Tracktion was my first DAW.
